As part of our 60th anniversary, ten of our staff participated in the Hadrian’s Wall Walk for The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, the Glasgow team’s adopted charity. Raising over £2,000, they completed the 90 mile trek from Bowness on Solway to Wallsend in five days, led by architect Steven Ford.
He said “It was a great achievement on everyone’s part and some were really suffering by the end. We are delighted with the amount raised and thank colleagues and clients for their support. It is great during this special year to be provided company time free to participate in events of this nature.”
Karen Hattie, The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice corporate fundraiser, said “This was a fantastic achievement by those who took part and a sterling effort with the fundraising. On behalf of the patients, staff and volunteers at the hospice, our sincere thanks go to both the walkers and those who sponsored the team.”
