Cathy is a recognised practitioner in urban design and associate of the RTPI. Cathy studied at Leeds Metropolitan University and gained an MA in urban design at Newcastle University. She is passionate about creating healthy places which enhance wellbeing. Cathy’s role involves research, masterplanning, public realm, site and contextual analysis, stakeholder engagement and planning. She also leads on historic research, heritage statements and impact assessments, including working closely with conservation officers, Historic England and other consultees. She led the practice’s placemaking group and is part of the environmental strategy group. Cathy also supported Northern Architecture’s Young Urbanists programme.
