Emma is a design assistant who joined the practice in 2014 after completing her degree in interior architecture at Northumbria University. She works primarily in the adaption and refurbishment of existing buildings across the education and residential sectors. Her interests lie in exploring how existing spaces can be adapted to suit the changing needs of society while protecting and building upon heritage. Emma was part of the winning Build Earth Live New York team in 2015 and regularly participates in fundraising events for the Children’s Heart Unit Foundation. She is a keen musician and often plays in the orchestra for theatre productions.
