Thames Valley Science Park

This furthers the practice’s reputation in the science and research sectors.

The Gateway approval is a major milestone in the development, offering 6,900sqm of speculative multi occupancy facilities of serviced laboratories, offices and communal spaces, forming the initial stage of the overall 18,000sqm first phase of development.  The planning committee referred to the building as “… striking in design, creating a dynamic and distinctive sense of place…”.

Gareth Callen, Ryder director said “We are pleased proposals for the Gateway received unanimous approval.  The building and developed design code set the standard and blueprint for further phases of development at the park and we look forward to starting on site.”

In addition to planning approval the practice has also been commissioned to develop a phase two masterplan which will take development potential up to 74,300sqm in total.

David Gillham, Thames Valley Science Park director said “The Thames Valley Science Park will build on the already established thriving community of knowledge based companies on campus in our Enterprise Centre and Science and Technology Centre.”
