As part of Building’s Winning Work in Education and Healthcare series, Paul Bell, partner at Ryder hosted the webinar on 22 October which discussed how cross sector collaboration creates holistic environments that support community health, wellbeing, and sustainable urban growth.
Panellists Anisha Mayor, director and UK head of healthcare at WSP, and Magali Thomson, project lead for placemaking at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust, and Paul discussed the importance of community engagement when creating spaces, particularly those who aren’t always involved in these conversations such as teenagers and primary school aged children.
The panel also discussed Ryder’s Liverpool Green Lanes, a proposition to catalyse, connect, green and grow Liverpool and engage the city’s communities, as well as considering its opportunities and challenges.
