Workspace Design Show announces the theme of its 2025 edition ‘Activate the Senses’ which will explore how multi sensory, immersive environments aid wellbeing, productivity and engagement in the workplace.

The Ryder designed Occupier’s Forum, the Wavescape Lounge, is inspired by the coast to bring recollective experiences for all five senses. The space is brought to life through a palette of materials sourced from plastic waste that threatens our ocean habitats.

Commenting on the design, Gabrielle Fryett, associate interior designer at Ryder, said: We’re delighted to unveil the Wavescape Lounge, a space that blends sustainability with inspiring design to create a truly immersive experience that captivates the senses. Thanks to our collaboration with Umbrella Furniture and Wagstaff Interiors, we’ve brought this vision to life, crafting an environment that sparks meaningful memories.”

Emma Douglass, senior interior designer at Ryder, is a member of the advisory board who have been integral in shaping the content of the event. Emma commented: “Were looking forward to hosting our panel discussion on Workplace Communities with expert thought leaders from Bupa and Home Group. Recent projects with these valued clients have resulted in forward thinking, inclusive, diverse and socially responsible workplaces which were excited to share learnings from at the exhibition.
