Grant Sellars

Architectural Director

Grant studied at Leeds Beckett University before completing his studies at the University of Nottingham. He has worked on a number of RIBA award winning schemes in London, Nottingham and Vancouver before joining Ryder in 2008. Grant has enjoyed playing an integral role on a variety of projects varying in scale, scope and complexity, with his main focus in recent years on the education, leisure and office sectors. He relishes the challenge of exciting briefs and enjoys working closely with clients and stakeholders to truly understand their needs and explore opportunities which can be created through collaboration and innovation. Grant was a founding trustee of Azuko, Ryder’s charitable foundation, responsible for Ryder’s One Planet Living action plan and is a visiting tutor at Northumbria University. When not in the studio, he enjoys honing his DIY skills.
