Barry Farrar

Barry joined Ryder after 30 years at Red Box Design Group including five years as managing director. He has extensive experience on major commercial, hospitality, industrial, leisure and specialised projects such as chemical and nano technology laboratories both in the UK, China and Russia. Barry was recently responsible for the delivery of St George’s Park, the English Football Associations National Training Academy and base for all 24 of the English National teams. His energy, enthusiasm, positive attitude and ability to work well as a design and production team leader have allowed him to drive complex projects to successful, often award winning completions. Barry enjoys travelling, is a keen golfer although he struggles with short putts, and is often hidden away in his garage tinkering with his beloved TVR.
