Paul completed his architectural education at the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow, in 1992 and has led several high profile urban design, health and infrastructure projects. In 2006 he established Ryder’s Glasgow office and led the early development of the Hong Kong office. Prior to joining Ryder, he worked with Terry Farrell for 11 years in London and Hong Kong. He has spoken around the world on sustainable healthcare design, has tutored at Newcastle University and is a member of the NEECC Transport Forum. Paul leads Ryder’s Northern Arc Hyperloop proposition, one of ten schemes at the global forefront of this emerging technology. He loves to cycle and has completed several long distance rides, including Cycle to MIPIM 2014, 2016 and 2018, as well as a tour between all four of Ryder’s UK offices in 2013 as part of the 60th anniversary celebrations.
