Alister Houghton

Alister joined Ryder in 2015 after working with Ryder Alliance partner, i2C, for seven years. After earning his bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney, he specialised in retail at the Australian practice. With ambitions to broaden his personal and professional horizons overseas, he secured a one way ticket to Ryder’s Newcastle headquarters. Alister’s meticulous and personable approach found a natural home at Ryder. He knows that the difference between a good project and a great one is in the details — and he makes it his business to let those details sing, be they in grout lines or Gantt charts. Since joining he’s worked across sectors including education, residential, commercial, refurbishment, and healthcare — a highlight being Aviva Studios in Manchester. Rumour has it he's been having too good a time to get a return ticket.
