Andy Almond
Senior Architect - Liverpool
Following his graduation in 2012 from Liverpool John Moore University, Andy qualified as an architect in 2015. Since joining Ryder in 2013, he has gained experience working in the education, residential and civic sectors and is currently working on the delivery of three new fire stations across Merseyside. Andy has helped support local charities by taking part in organised events such as the Ryder 60th cycle ride and abseiling down Liverpool’s Anglican cathedral. His proudest achievement to date is being involved in delivering Smithfield One, Manchester which won Best Apartment Building in The Sunday Times British Homes Awards in 2015. Andy is interested in developing the use of collaborative BIM technologies and processes to deliver efficient and successful architecture. He is an energetic individual and enjoys the outdoors. In his spare time, he enjoys watching and participating in many sports, in particular Liverpool FC.
