Ian Ross

Ian brings more than 30 years of expertise in building control. He was a founder member of a national approved inspector company, overseeing projects of varying scales and sectors, before joining Ryder in 2025. Ian is a chartered surveyor, chartered building engineer and a class 3 and 4 specialist registered building inspector. His experience spans diverse industries, including broadcast media, pharmaceuticals, and residential sectors, ensuring the application of building regulation standards in both dynamic working and living environments. Outside of his professional endeavours, Ian enjoys the alchemy of making curries, playing the piano, and embracing the great outdoors with his wife in their motorhome.
