Rachel Azkak

Rachel joined Ryder in 2025 with over 15 years’ experience as a health and safety consultant and CDM principal designer. She has supported a wide range of projects including government properties, education, rail, manufacturing, retail and residential developments. Rachel specialises in eliminating residual hazards during the design phase, providing robust solutions and managing design risk effectively to enhance safety and compliance. She holds a degree in environmental health, public health and safety (Environmental Health Officer) and NEBOSH qualification. Rachel has a strong professional interest in steering groups, driving standardisation and continuous improvement. Outside of work, she is a keen football fan and is learning to play golf.
