Sophie Walker

Sophie joined Ryder in 2014 following her studies at Newcastle University. She has worked on a wide range of projects and gained valuable experience across several sectors. Key projects include The Grand Press, Newcastle United Masterplan, One Strawberry Lane, Leazes Park Road, and the Priority Schools Building Programme north east batch, which includes Kepier School and Whickham School and Sports College. Sophie played a key role in the development and delivery of Horse to Hyperloop for the Great Exhibition of the North. Sophie has undertaken secondments to both the Ryder Vancouver office and Ryder London office. Outside of work she enjoys yoga, working on her allotment and walking her dogs. Sophie is an active member of the committee for the Yorkshire North East branch of Women in Property.
