Kate Mathers

Associate

Kate is an associate at Ryder and has experience leading teams and developing designs for student residences, aquatic and recreation centres, child care projects, and community development plans.  Originally from Ontario, Kate studied anthropology and urban geography at McGill University in Montreal, followed by a masters of architecture at UBC. Her interdisciplinary background allows Kate to sensitively respond to cultural context, informing her people first approach to projects.  She has an insatiable appetite for books and can be found most Saturday afternoons perusing the stacks at her local library.
