Richard Doone

Design Consultant

Richard trained as an architect at the Bartlett School, University College London. After graduating he worked with Terence Conran for 26 years, leading Conran & Partners as managing director from 1999. In 2010, he cofounded Doone Silver Kerr, running the company until 2022 when the practice was acquired by Ryder. Richard has worked at all scales of architecture and interior design project, from a 40 storey tower to a noodle bar and has wide sector experience including residential, retail, office, hospitality and leisure. He has completed projects in 15 countries, most extensively in Japan. Richard was a governor of the Kent Institute of Art & Design and has taught in UK and Asia design schools. He also rides the rollercoaster that is supporting Tottenham Hotspur FC.
