Steven Ford

Architectural Director

Steven joined Ryder in 2006 after studying at Mackintosh School of Architecture and recevied the Ryder Bursary in 2007.  Steven has experience leading projects across a diverse range of sectors, including leisure, education and office.  He is chair of Ryder360, an advisory board that represents a cross section of the practice and meets to discuss suggestions for improvements on how we deliver Excellence to our people, with a focus on personal development, wellbeing and giving back.

Steven is passionate about modern methods of construction, helping to develop a methodology for modelling pre cast elements for direct use in manufacturing and assembly for Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary. He regularly plays football and enjoys cycling and travelling with his family.
