Plans Approved for Great Charles Street Build to Rent Scheme

The £258m Moda neighbourhood will comprise of 722 build to rent homes transforming the 2.6 acre brownfield site at the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

Following an extensive detailed engagement process with multiple stakeholders, the Ryder designed 39 storey tower has been given the go ahead which will provide stunning long range views over the city and a vibrant new neighbourhood to live, work and play.

The site, which has been underdeveloped for over 50 years, has been characterised by its history and forms the transition between the conservation area and the modern city core with a new focal point for the Jewellery Quarter, offering residents access to a new public and private realm, including boutique shops, café, bars and restaurants, health and wellbeing amenities, as well as commercial space.
