A new 1,050 pupil secondary school in Bearsden, Glasgow, arranged around key learning plazas to create a series of inspirational learning spaces.
The building responds to its semi rural landscape setting by adopting a low, ground hugging form to maximise connections with external spaces and minimise the scale of the school.
The landscape has been designed to provide an environmental education resource for the school and enhance the biodiversity of the area. This includes native grasslands, woodland zones, hibernaculums, a wildlife pond, and facilities for recycling.
