This pair of buildings each consist of two floorplate wings offset to either side of a central atrium containing vertical circulation with service cores adjacent.
The model allows each building to be split between occupiers each with separate entrance and facilities. The glazed elevations are engineered to control solar gain and glare with external brise soleil.
Brickwork is used to express stair cores and to create a visual anchor to the buildings. Environmental design is based on a fabric first approach which optimises the envelope performance.
