York, UK - Residential
A fit out for a care home provider at their new build location nestled in the village of Strensall, York. Ryder interiors led the scheme covering all aspects of the home’s interiors, including finishes, joinery design, FF&E and soft furnishing and accessories to all front of house areas.
The home accommodates 62 residents, with several of the ground floor bedrooms offering private patios. From bedrooms, lounges and dining rooms to a salon, treatment room, bar and cinema, all spaces are incorporated into the timeless, classic design.
In keeping with Goldsborough Manor’s homely atmosphere, local history is dotted throughout the home through room names and areas to accommodate an inclusive and social activity calendar.
The first floor, Strensall Common, is dedicated to dementia care and has been designed to offer a safe and stimulating environment for individuals with varying degrees of memory impairment.
Bespoke furniture and unique styling evoke familiar settings such as market stalls, potting sheds, Bettys Café, and the Queen Elizabeth Barracks. These curated spaces rekindle memories of everyday experiences, promoting comfort and connection.
