A three form entry school with an integrated 52 place nursery.
The school is formed primarily in brickwork with a combination of dual and single pitched metal covered roofs which are extended at certain corners to form sheltered play areas.
The single storey building form is arranged around a central circulation street which acts as a spine to the school and provides access to three distinct wings, providing accommodation for the nursery and key stages 1 and 2.
The street was designed to be an extension of the learning environment. Class bases and halls can be fully or partially opened to it to allow overspill for internal learning, dining or for the creation of a larger performance space.
