Joint owned by two universities and the council, the third innovation centre at the park provides multi occupied serviced facilities including lettable office suites and laboratories.
The four storey centre merges with the previous Innovation Centre 1 (ic1) and effectively operates as a single building. The existing entrance and reception area within ic1 serves both.
The site is constrained by important built heritage considerations, within a conservation area, and adjacent to the Grade II* listed Metropolitan Cathedral. Particular attention was paid to ensure the character and appearance of the conservation area was preserved and enhanced.
“The team have combined commercial design pragmatism with buildings of outstanding aesthetic quality and interiors of real flair.”
“The solutions you provided have ensured that the move went very smoothly and, having been here nearly a year, we are delighted with the outcome and look forward to working with Ryder again in the future.”
“Ryder is a premium architectural practice and Gareth Callen’s serial appointment to provide architectural consultancy services to Liverpool Science Park is evidence of a very high level of client satisfaction.”
