Macclesfield, UK - Healthcare
The scheme comprises transforming the existing first floor office space of the New Alderley House in Macclesfield District General Hospital into a new education and training centre for staff and students.
Our approach to this strategic redesign draws inspiration from higher education environments to support East Cheshire NHS Trust’s aspirations to provide improved educational facilities.
The new centre includes a library, training rooms, classrooms, simulation, breakout, and touchdown spaces as well as supporting facilities for staff, locker provision, print stations and dedicated hot and cold drinks facilities.
Our specialist interior design team provided a full interiors service including ceiling treatments, selection of finishes, detailed joinery design and furniture and lighting selections. The furniture has been delivered in partnership with Workwell, with key pieces selected to integrate planting and power throughout the space.
