Ryder was part of the winning consortium for the major project to provide new facilities for the Avon and Somerset Constabulary.
Gloucester Road provides a custody base and police station for Avon and Somerset Police comprising a 48 cell custody unit including
prosecution and investigation accommodation and associated external parking, operational, storage and support facilities.
It forms part of a broader strategic project to provide new build accommodation on four sites: Gloucester Road, Express Parkway, Keynsham and Blackrock Quarry.
The design responds to varying scale and massing of the building particularly the custody suite at ground floor level with minimal accommodation located above.
