A successful masterplan completed together with two built projects.
Arising from a wider spatial analysis of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine’s principal central London site and long term development goals, the masterplan and built projects have completely transformed this listed site and added much needed teaching, research, ancillary and public spaces.
The masterplan and spatial analysis identified two redundant courtyards as having potential for creating new space and, by doing so, have improved accessibility and circulation, whilst providing urgently needed additional floor areas.
