Horse to Hyperloop

Project TypeLeisure

As part of the Great Exhibition of the North 2018, Ryder hosted an exhibition entitled Horse to Hyperloop.

Horse to Hyperloop built upon the heritage of the former stables building which we repurposed as our Newcastle office and celebrated our success in winning the Virgin Hyperloop One Global Challenge with our pioneering proposal for Northern Arc, designed to create a Northern super economic region by bridging the gap between the M62 corridor and the Scottish Central Belt.

Horse to Hyperloop opened its doors on 22 June and welcomed over 7,000 visitors including HRH The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William.

The exhibition allowed visitors to explore the high speed transport of tomorrow inside a building with a fascinating link to the travel of yesteryear.

Activities included becoming a city architect for the day by designing a bridge to the future, modelling a north east building to take home and interacting with the pioneering Northern Arc, the super highspeed future of transport.
