Multiple Shortlists in RICS Awards
Ryder Architecture have three projects shortlisted in the prestigious 2018 RICS north east awards.
International design practice Ryder Architecture adds to its continuing list of 2020 awards commendations, with seven projects nominated in the RICS Social Impact Awards across eight categories.
The shortlisted projects are located across the north of England and Scotland, demonstrating Ryder’s impressive project portfolio and reach across the UK. The RICS Social Impact Awards recognise and honour projects that make a positive contribution to our local communities and improve people’s lives.
Four projects in the north east of England, where Ryder’s head office is located, have been shortlisted. These include: The Biosphere, a laboratory and office development at Newcastle Helix, and the refurbishment of Northumbria University’s Student Central.
In Scotland, The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow continues its impressive awards record with a nomination in the healthcare category and Kirn Primary School has picked up an nomination.

As part of the next stage of the competition, judges will be visiting all schemes imminently and winners will be announced at each regional ceremony, taking place between March – April.
