Chris is an architectural director who qualified in 1999 at University of Strathclyde and joined Ryder in 2011. He has led a range of prestigious projects in education, office, residential, hotel developments and custodial design. His work on renewable energy plants has been widely published in architectural press. Chris holds a number of awards including the Royal Scottish Academy Stuart prize, City of Glasgow Silver Medal for architecture, University of Strathclyde Arthur Leslie Hamilton award and Isabel Mair Scholarship award. Chris supports architectural education having been a design studio tutor at Strathclyde University and Glasgow School of Art and is also a graduate of Common Purpose. He has a passion for history - frequently looking to the campaigns of Napoleon for inspiration on dealing with project demands.
