The project includes a major seismic upgrade and heritage restoration to one of the City of Vancouver’s most prominent landmark churches and music venue.

St Andrew’s stands as a remarkable example of Gothic Revival architecture in Western Canada.

Known for its soaring interior vaulted timber roof, French and Italian stained glass windows and angel reliefs, St Andrew’s functions as a major religious, heritage and cultural focal point for the city.  The rehabilitation of this historic structure allows it to remain so for future generations.

The project consists of a seismic upgrade to the original concrete structure, reinstatement of historic interior Caen plaster cornices, archways, and interior details, as well as a new stone floor, pews and upgraded building services.

The heritage designated building exterior has received a new copper roof whilst granite façades have been repointed and restrained.
