Stanley Masterplan

Ryder led a multi disciplinary team to produce a masterplan and implementation plan for Stanley town centre and surrounding settlements, which has been adopted by the Council.

The vision for Stanley is to create a thriving, healthy town with a vibrant, welcoming and distinctive town centre which local people are proud of, and which appeals to visitors.  Ryder led community and stakeholder engagement.

The masterplan features a mix of uses, including residential, community and leisure, reusing heritage assets and redeveloping vacant sites, along with improved walking and cycling routes, linking in with the Coast-to-Coast route, and a cycle hub.
