Amanda Whittington

Architectural Director

Amanda joined Ryder in 2024 with over 20 years of experience leading teams in the design and delivery of award winning, mixed use residential and office projects nationwide.  She also has experience in creative reuse projects and retrofit design.  Amanda achieves success by developing strong relationships, working collaboratively with clients, stakeholders, and design teams to develop briefs and project goals.  She has sat on expert panels for both work and wellbeing for the NLA, advising on the London Mayor’s white paper for development.  She is an external examiner at Liverpool university and sits on the design review panel for Richmond council.  To maintain her work life balance, Amanda enjoys cooking, family time and watching rugby league.
