Melanie Robinson

Prior to joining Peter Barker’s team in 2019, Melanie completed her undergraduate degree in architectural technology at Edinburgh Napier University in July 2015.  She is now on track to complete her PhD from Napier in 2020, with a thesis that investigated competency related barriers to effective BIM adoption in the UK.  Melanie has previously worked on research projects developing a BIM competency framework and digital skills for an offsite construction framework.  She has previous construction industry experience, predominantly specialising in the higher education and highways and transportation sectors.  Now that Melanie has completed her studies, she is looking forward to travelling more and seeing new places.
