Rafaela Ahsan

Trainee Architect

Rafaela joined Ryder in 2020.  She completed a master’s degree at Delft University of Technology where she developed a keen interest in social housing using sustainable construction methods.  Previously, Rafaela worked in Canada and the Netherlands on a mix of education, office and residential projects, most notably the 12 storey expansion for The Brearley School in New York.  She has a passion to improve the lives of the disadvantaged through designing affordable housing, working on community oriented projects and hosting educational workshops.   Outside of work, Rafaela is also a published fine art portrait photographer who prides herself in bringing out the best in people!
