The requirement was for a new build three storey sports and office facility for Newcastle United Foundation.
The building includes a four court sports hall, U8 mini soccer roof top pitch, an activity studio, a spin studio, two dividable classrooms, a STEM classroom and an open plan office space.
A glazed façade into the social space at the building’s main entrance and into the studios and office supports the client aspiration for a transparent building, which would allow users and the wider community to engage with the work of the charity.
