Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew
Ryder is appointed, as part of a multi disciplinary team, to undertake a five year programme of works at Royal Botanical Gardens and Wakehurst.
The project forms part of the Kew Capital Development Programme which will conserve and enhance facilities at the UNESCO World Heritage site.
The programme, funded by DEFRA, includes new buildings, major refurbishments, including historic conservation, and technical support in relation to BIM and site wide infrastructure.
This includes the iconic grade one listed Palm House and Princess of Wales Conservatory, replacement of the Arboretum Nursery and repurposing of the Herbarium Complex which currently houses archive collections.
