Ryder Architecture Welcomes The Bush Consultancy to the Team

The Bush Consultancy joined Ryder on 1 February following a number of collaborations over recent years.

The Bristol based architecture practice has over 35 years’ experience working across the commercial, defence, education and residential sectors throughout the UK and Europe, with a proven track record as a trusted partner for clients.

Several residential projects are underway in Bristol including a 101 bed student accommodation development on Newfoundland Road, as well as build to rent apartments and affordable homes at Millwrights Place and Coopers Court which are both nearing completion. The team are also working on projects at MOD Lyneham, Tidworth and Bovington, together with defence training estate schemes nationally, which will bolster Ryder’s existing capability.

Mark Thompson, managing partner at Ryder, said: “We are delighted to welcome The Bush Consultancy to Ryder following three years of collaboration across a wide range of projects. The team will further strengthen the business with a new location in the south west, alongside a complementary portfolio of clients and talented people.”

The addition to the practice will see the new team led by director Martin Kendall.

All 16 colleagues from The Bush Consultancy have transferred to Ryder, bringing the Ryder team to over 350 people.
